I would trust Lloyds TSB about as far as I could chuck this planet.

I have just got (almost ) to the end of helping my son elevate a dispute with Lloyds to the Financial Ombudsman, who has negotiated a reasonable sum in compensation for an almost endless string of complaints. These included failure to act on written instructions, failure to maintain customer details, failure to fulfill their undertakings given both verbally and in writing and even potential criminal acts in the misuse of telephones.

I got so worried with the sheer incompetence my son received, I decided I simply couldn't risk keeping my TSB credit card and asked in writing for that to be cancelled.

They didn't.

When I quyeried that I was told that I had to go into the branch or do it by phone as writen instructions weren't ssecure enough!! They went all strange when I asked how a cheque worked if I wrote one and sent it by post.

No. Lloyds is one big fail as far as I am concerned.

I have nothing but pleasure with banking with them...i have business account with them, plus a number of personal accounts and family accounts etc....and my local branch has really got to know us...and its great having personal service when we go in.

Unfortunately i could not say the same about HSBC....how i hate them with a passion especially their foreign call centres.......errrggghhhhhhhhhh:oops:

Why don't you just call them up and get your balance?
(Just ignore the rather large withdrawl that was made a little while ago:whistling:)

Obviously no-one at LloydsTSB has heard the saying "if it ain't broke, don;t fix it..."
Bring back the old site, please! It was fast, worked well and I knew where everything was. The new one never loads, and even when you do get in it it is slow and half the functions (like transferring money) never load :(

Sorry LloydsTSB you get a big FAIL vote from me on this one!

Ok, turns out the issue is that GOOGLE CHROME which I was using is not up to their new 'super high' security standards. It is possible Mozilla users will also have the same problem.

IE 8 worked at the usual blazing speed that I was used to. Hope that helps others too :)
