Anyone else having problems with Firefox after the Sunday W7 update?
Sunday night as I closed down the laptop it installed a few windows updates.
From Monday FF is almost unusable!
Its taking a good five seconds to just to change open tabs, typing is lagging a few seconds for every key press. New tabs take minutes to open. Opening from the task bar now takes about 30 seconds!
It seems that there a huge lag in FF tracking the mouse now, hovering over a button, nothing happens for a good five or more seconds before it detects the position.
If I restart it continually it'll work for about 30 minutes and then drops back to this lagging.
Both IE and Chrome are working fine (but I've spent months tweaking FF the way I want it and the same add on aren't there for Chrome). What ever is happening is only affecting FF.
I've tried to go to system restore, but the Sunday update did set a restore point !
Anyone else having these problems? Or am I just lucky...
Anyone have a thought to a fix?

Which version of Mozilla Firefox are you using?
Version 12 was available from yesterday. Have you tried updating that?

That's fixed it, many thanks.
I looked for an update to FF on Monday when it started to play up, didn't find one and then didn't look again!
Then again... No it's just the same, it was the restart that fixed it, after 20 minutes all the lags back :(
