After 5 days of being told to wait because there were delays it now turns out that Yodel have lost my parcel, SO I now have to sit and wait for the seller to send me another tablet or wait for a refund, anyone reading this and still waiting for goods I would advise you to start opening disputes if you bought via ebay and do not close them until you get your items.

I apologise in advance this will probably end in a rant.

Bought another Linx 7 tablet on eBay on the 2nd, paid for next day delivery.
They dispatched it quickly and gave me the tracking number beginning with "JD", it got as far as Enfield Service centre @ 7:15pm 2nd Nov.

Delivery day (yesterday) nothing had changed on the tracking and at 11am i got a message from yodel saying delivery had been delayed by 24hrs!!

Messaged the seller (not their fault I know BUT the listing did say DPD delivery not Yodel so a bit peeved about that anyway as DPD would have delivered yesterday with no issues) and got a generic reply to use the tracking plus the consignment number.

Used the consignment number aswell as the JD number to track last night and still said at Enfield.

Used the consignment number to track earlier and there is now a different "JD" number attached to it and says the parcel is out for delivery with Warrington Home Delivery there's no address details on it, I live 200 miles from Warrington (going on the assumption WHD is based in Warrington)

My original "JD" number still says Enfield Service centre.......24hrs have passed and I have no idea where or what my tablet is doing....Tried ringing Yodel and can't get through and just noticed they charge 5p a minute so you have to pay to speak to them because they have utterly messed up a delivery that I have paid for...eh?!

To top it all off the tablets have gone back down to £59.99 again.....

/end rant

Anyone else had any issues and did you get them resolved or have you been left hanging?

I think ALL mailing methods are struggling lately!
Bought something from a registered seller on ebay on the 26th, was posted the next day, and hasn't arrived (2nd class RM)
Sent a parcel with myhermes, and it took 2 days longer than usual to reach the recipient.
Another order (internet gift store- which I assume via RM) also not arrived yet (sent 28th)

Try their Twitter account - YodelOnline - lots of people complain at them :p - but, they do respond and try and find out whats happening. One of my parcels went missing the other week and they were the most helpful out of everyone I contacted. The only downside was, they told me they'd do a base search which would take up to 24 hours later, so next day I ask and was told they couldnt do a search as they needed to know the contents of the parcel, so if they say they'll do a search, tell them whats in the parcel instead of waiting.

What you mean like drivers turning up at your house leaving parcel on porch and driving off without knocking or popping anything through the letterbox whilst you sit a couple of metres away with car on driveway to give idea that someone is home........ Nope (_;)

Least yours has been picked up from the seller.. I got a tracking number from an order with Zavvi, and its been sat on 'Waiting' (to be picked up) for the past 3 days...

I think that may be Wednesbury in the West Midlands as it is their superhub. They only have a couple of hubs as opposed to depots. Be patient!

Least yours has been picked up from the seller.. I got a tracking number from an order with Zavvi, and its been sat on 'Waiting' (to be picked up) for the past 3 days...
Same here order sitting since last Thursday - finally moving today !

My Yodel order was delayed by one day. That's not too bad but they didn't tell me until 1pm on the day it was due which I meant I wasted half a day. That was annoying!

if you think Yodel are bad you should try UK mail, but I won't bore you with all the details, in my case it was a Samsung note pro tablet and involved many costly phone calls after non delivery but tracking stated delivered and signed for. Finally turned up after 3 days.

amazon prime delivery purchased friday expected on monday. travelled from swansea to nottingham, via lemington spa, oldham, and lancashire for some reason, unspecified 'problem' recorded on tracking system twice. arrived wednesday night. courier complaining how heavy parcel was, cause it was 50lb and he was on his own. courier loudly announced what was in package twice, asked him not to after first time, spoiling birthday surprise for otherhalf who was upstairs. could be worse.

I ain't had any problems with yodel my deliver came today but I think alot are having problems with next day delivery as the amount of people are ordering, also mine didn't update for a while but keep checking an it should all show up soon :)

It has just been Black Friday/Cyber Monday AND it's coming up to Christmas. I think delays are expected.

What's annoying me the most is that Yodel knew that Black Friday weekend is mega busy and that they would have delays and they should have had something in place to cover it.

I get that it's a busy time of year but when you pay for Next Day and are then told there's a 24hr delay and then to still not have it after nearly 48hrs it's just incompetent imho.

Was advised to email their Social media dept. after I posted a review earlier, just had a reply basically telling me what I already know and that they will check the status tomorrow...

Time to boycott eBay again I think...just amazing that companies are potentially allowed to keep your money for up to 3 weeks when there is a problem

Yodel are having delays, just wait. You will get it the parcel eventually.

Not the point, they should be prepared for busy periods, if they can't cope with the workload then they shouldn't take on priority deliveries if the can't fulfill them, it won't turn up today or tomorrow, so hypothetically if it amazingly appears on Monday or Tuesday I would have been waiting 6 days for a next day delivery..and going on Yodels history no I probably wont get it.

Yodel are usually very good for me. Always the same driver, no issues. Standard deliveries being delivered next day.
Only now I've witnessed what happens from delays, I'm not defending them, but no need to make a case about it, just wait a bit longer (like me and thousands of others).

I'm sure they prepared, just not enough, clearly. If there's a bottleneck in the process, everything is delayed.

If it was a standard or free delivery yes I would but when I have paid for something to turn up next day and it doesn't and I get a message saying 24hr delay and 48hrs+ later theres no further progress or updates you can see why I am annoyed, and unfortunately I am one of the customers that has constantly had issues with them, things being left outside, delivered to wrong addressed, saying things have been delivered and signed for and they have not, even had someones parcel deposited outside our door and the address was for a totally different Town etc etc

My "next day" delivery was dispatched on the 2nd, expected on the 3rd. We're on the 5th now and my parcel hasn't budged since the 2nd.

I think we both do lol :) so either there has been a massive beep up and they just have the paperwork for both our orders or well idk... I'm now on the live chat with someone else, hes taken longer to look into it than the last person

Mine was taken in (collected) and dispatched from the first depot (Sheffield) and nothing since. They would have had to have the parcel to scan to exit the depot, or do they? :D

Just spoken to Dave on the live chat and he has said he will contact the depot and email me so....

I really don't rate Yodel, unfortunately i'm waiting 2 parcels from them, hopefully they will arrive soon....
