Anyone heard of The Money Club ? Is it some scam or legit?
Well a few days back I had an email in,I think it may come about off a survey online,I do various surveys for quite a lot of different websites and do exchange points for Amazon vouchers etc.
So anyway I never thought anything of the email, anyway I just had a call off them, anyway I got rid of them on the phone cos I know nothing much about them and they asking me about signing up for some free trial but I made excuse that i have to go for children as last day at school which is true they finish 15mins time,so does anyone know about it?
It's about buying goods at a lower price than store/website,like at tradeprices,is it legit or some scam? They didn't go into detail about it,if they mentioned can we take bank card details then it would set alarm bells ringing but anyone know anything?

Thanks,I'll let them know I'm not interested as I imagine they will call again.
Thought there be some catch, there usually is.
Just received a telephone call today from The Money Club, never heard of them. Lady was very talkative and explained the savings I could make, gave my email address and was quoted that the joining fee for a 4 wek trial perid was only £1.00.
Alarm bells started to ring when she asked for my bank sort code and when I stated that I did not give these details out over the phone she said it was to set up a direct debit. When I again stated that I would not give out any bank details she was off the phone like a shot!!!!

thanks but looks like noone cares
Bloody hell! I hope she doesn't read this! She'll shat herself oO
If the money was taken by direct debit then you can easily have this reversed by your bank using the direct debit guarantee. You didn't give permission for this debit, as you were informed by the company that no further money would be taken if you didn't make use of their services.
