Number 1 : When pressing the backspace key, you have noticed that it does not work correctly. What command can be used to find out about the command which allows this to be fixed?

Number 2: How do you replace words in the vi editor? I.e replace the word Credit to APL.

Number3: How do you move block of text in the vi editor?

Hope you can help me, thanks! :D

1. stty erase
2a. to replace a single instance of the word use the arrow keys to go to the word and then hit keys "cw" (without quotes) then type the new word, press ctrl + c when finished typing new word.
2b. to replace multiple instances of the word press ":" (without quotes) then type g//s//,new word>/g
3. Say you want to move a block of text thats 10 lines long, go to the first line and type "10 dd" (without quotes), then use the arrow keys to go to the new area where you want the text and press "p" (without quotes). You can do the same procedure using copy "yy" rather than using "dd" but this leaves the original text in place like copy & paste in windows.
