what kind of facility you want the web to have?

I could do one for you but for what your wanting it for, to be absolutely honest with you, you'd be better of getting a site in a box off ebay, you'd only be looking at about £30, would be up in a couple of days and would be perfect for your needs.

oh dear-i dont know what can be done! i want a website that we can use for adwords or similar-with a contact form and numbers for calling etc-the usual-and pictures of work. Not a massive site as he wnt be selling things just services...is that what you mean?

sorry if i confuse you :)
i meant if this is a simple web (just like you describe), you can make it yourself using microsoft word. save it as webpage then upload it to your webhost. thats it.

if you would a little bit interactive such as online contact form etc, then as masterbrown said it might be better to ask someone professional to do it.

Have a look at item number 140237815556 its £97 but explain that you have your own domain name etc and you'll probably get a discount, comes with a few begginers extras as you'll see so it might be worth you spending that much as you'll learn etc

Easy enough to make your own if you use automated software such as ewisoft (and even a ten year old could use that one!). Free hosting is common but expect to have adverts if you do use them, or use one of the 99.9% uptime guarunteed hosts such as godaddy.
If it's more of a webpage than a website you want I'll have a few free hours (and spare hosting). Depends on how much you have to add content wise. (Pm me if so).

Id also join BT Tradespace, which is free, as it will get you higher up the search engines as well as your on actual website.

I know a bit about making basic websites from back when i did Graphic Design and helped maintain a website so don't mind helping with a few tips. Like a few of the others say tho, if it's only a basic webpage page as such, rather than a full site you're after, some of the free page design sites on the net might be a good starting point  PM me if you're struggling with something and if i can help i will :)
