it looks lovely although roses never last more than a few days and thats if you are lucky. but the bamboo will last i have 3 lots of bamboo and they are going stong and they are 4 years old.

if you want something different from roses take a look for some bird of paradise it is really nice and different will last twice as long as roses.

my partner always gets me flowers on valentines and mothers day from our local florists and the roses never seem to last any longer than 6 days but then again he does just go in and ask for a £50 bunch and it is really nice but is absolutely massive so i dont like to separate them so they all just go in a big vase maybe thats one of the reasons mine dont live for long lol.

 a lot of places now do a 7 day guarantee on flowers so maybe worth you checking with your florist if they die quicker

eh i will have you know bamboo is really nice i have my 3 in a vase on my dining room table and they look gorge. but must admit she will probably be angry if you just bought her 1 rose with a piece of bamboo plus for the price of it you could get half a dozen roses.
