Was looking at my connection stats as been having problems with disconnections over the past 5 evenings, but noticed the CRC error figure seems ridiculously high.

It's always been high, even when I had no problems with the connection, but it's shot up so was wondering what it actually means and if there's anything I can do to fix it?

It appears that your computer is sending out a lot of bad MAC frames. Its unlikely to be the cause of your disconnections, unless its sending a lot out at once, in a DOS style.

It might be worth posting on http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php?board=4.0 (Someone recommended it, I can't remember where though :()

I didn't think that it would be the cause of the disconnections, but I was just curious what was causing it and whether I could do anything about it. Looking on my internet providers forum, there are a lot of complaints there about lines dropping out, so looks like I'm not the only one having the problem which is strangely reassuring :)

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow during the day when my connection is stable again
