yeah ... quite simple really.
Go to ... Account ... Privacy settings....customise settings...''Posts by me''(first option)
then click ''customise'' a new box comes up with an option ''hide from these people'' type her name in and there you go.

I think my mum would cry. But, if facebook plays up and she can't see my wall...

give her limited access to your account, you'll need to change your settings i think

I understand it must be annoying, but is it that bad letting your Mum post on your wall if it keeps her happy? Or is it because there is stuff you dont want her to see?

in all fairness,we dont know anything about the OPs mum, what she talks about, or what she posts on his wall/status.

It might keep her happy, but it doesn't keep me happy. If she wants to say something, she can send me a message. Coincidently, she's managed to block me from her wall, but she has no idea how (she's useless with a computer).

There's nothing I don't want her to see. Just hate it when she rights a stupid comment on something that just doesn't require a comment.

Aww thats just what mums do - embarrass and annoy their kids, my mum would know ;) at least she cases enough about you to do that :D

I made a family category and set it to a limited profile then any family gets stuck in that and then instantly they can only see the right stuff.

I wish my kids would do that.

Make a Second account and add her on that one and delete off original, at least that way nobody sees the comments and with a bit of tinkering with a false setup( yes false friends with same names added to your friends list) that looks like your original she will not be any the wiser.
So you wont hurt her feelings.

Or get one of your friends to post R.I.P (emhaslam/ your username,) on your wall and then maybe she'll....... hang on, hmmmm, thats probably going too far. As Dangergod says maybe best

If it's just the wall posting you want to stop then go to one of her posts and a little [x] should appear in the top R/H corner, if you select this then an option should present itself to either mark the post as [hide] or [spam], if you select the hide option then you will no longer see posts from that person.

My mum passed away 3 months after my dad 3 years ago when they were in their early 60's. So my advice is fast forward 20 years. Your mum has passed away and you'll think back to moments like these and wish she would post whatever she liked on your Facebook page!......yes its slightly off topic, but be nice to your mum she won't be around for ever!
