Am trying to send something through them, everytime I try I get the error: No services are available for your chosen option, please select a different "sending your parcel" option.

Have tried both options and both give the same error.

Anyone know how to send it?

Thanks!

I think it is a problem with their site. I cannot even get passed the second page of the enquiry form.

Got through with Firefox ok, but same as you.

Is the parcel too big for Royal Mail?

www.senditnow.com is parcelforce £10.99
when i sent items i just added the bfpo and then it said no address check postcode-so i added address manually. I am sure i have done this with senditnow. They will soon let you know if they cant take it anyway!
They only complete the UK side of it and then it is passed to forces mail (as far as i could tell!)
hpe this helps!

I usually use that site, but wouldn't allow me to put hm forces, I may try it manually but I'd better phone them first to check it's ok.

Don't need any more problems!!

Sending parcels to named personnel in places like afghanistan is free so long as parcel is under 2kg. Could you split yours??

I don't think it's free, maybe some places are.

Can't split it anyway, wish I could!

Phoned parcelforce, they won't send it unless I open up an account.

Could I open an account please?

No!

How do I send it?

You need to call the army!

What will they say?

They'll tell you to contact us.

What will you say?

We won't send it!

Thanks alot!!!

Hi Benji, Have a look at the BFPO Website, Hopefull;y you will find an answer there.

http://www.bfpo.mod.uk/optelic_opherrick_mail.htm#freemail

Best of luck

NB Just looked and a parcel < 6kg should cost £9.60.

Thanks,

I went through to the manager and asked how the hell I'm supposed to send this parcel through them if they won't let me open an account. The manager was quite helpful and pointed out that I can go into the post office and send it through Parcelforce. He didn't have a clue why they guy I spoke to didn't just tell me that. So I'll take it to the post office and send it, it appears to take between 2 and 12 weeks to deliver and they won't get a signature.

Wish me luck!!
