blacklisted for a reason.. STOLEN

there is probably a good reason why it has been blocked/barred by network so unless you wanna go down the illegal route of changing the imei then the simple answer is no.......but give 02 a call they may help

any unblocking/unbarring is a criminal offence and can carry a hefty fine and upto 5 years imprisonment

Thanks for your replys. Think the best option is to ring o2 then and tell them ive found my old phone and ask about getting it turned back on. Dont really wanna pay anymore charges out as i paid £25 for a replacement handset when i thought i'd lost this one. Even if they ask for it back its no good to me when it doesnt work so worth a try calling them eh

By anyone other than the network or official body - ((forgot who does it)(and its a rarity that they will unblock a phone even if genuine, ie you lost it, had it blocked then found it again so want it unblocked))

Not to be confused with UNLOCKING to all networks:thumbsup:

Yes, many ways, when your phone is connected to a network it broadcasts the IMEI number to the network, if its noticed the same IMEI is being broadcast simultaneously from more than one phone its possible both could then get blocked.

SWIM bought a mobile phone business that sells/repairs/unlocks mobiles etc as a going concern as a market trade, about two weeks later the police checked his phones for any stolen ones and not one damned IMEI matched the label, he was lucky to get away scot free after proving he bought them as part of the businesses stock.
