This is unbelievable, but true!

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees and has the following employee statistics ..

29 have been accused of spouse abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

9 have been accused of writing bad cheques

17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year

Which organisation is this ?

It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us inline.

What a bunch of b*****ds we have running our country - it says it all. And just to top all that they probably have the best 'corporate' pension scheme in the country!!

If you agree that this is an appalling state of affairs, please pass it on to everyone you know. It's time to stand up to this lot.

Probably true, although the last line is a bit odd - whoever wrote that line (and I'm sure it's not the OP) hasn't considered the fact that they are partly responsible for them being there. and so is everybody in this country, so if you pass it onto them what you really should say is 'Why on earth did you vote this rabble in?'

Sounds more like your typical spam / chain mail message.

Yes - sure does:

It's reaching thousands and thousands of people each week, few of whom realise that it's complete cobblers.

It originated in 1999 in the US, on a libertarian website called Capitol Hill Blue - the giveaway is the "little over 500"

The title of this thread is "Anyone Know if this is True?"

But then the OP starts "This is unbelievable, but true!" :?

29 have been accused of spouse abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

9 have been accused of writing bad cheques

Any convictions?

17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

Very, very vague.

3 have done time for assault

Sounds bad, but would like more details.

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

How anyone knows this is beyond me.

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

Convictions?

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

What are the lawsuits?

84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year

Convicted?

I prefer to make an informed decision before spreading tosh like this.

I guessed it was a bit of a scam. Funny how we all want to believe it is real.
