"Can i use my gift card on the web?"
"Yes sir"
(you can see what's coming here, can't you...)

Of course you can't use gift cards online, they won't let you ! (great service so far).

Anyone think if I go into the store again midday Saturday and raise hell they'll admit they a bunch of idiots and match their own website ??

No, they won't, and neither will WH Smiths.

alot of companies have cheaper online prices as they dont have to pay extra staff

thing with hmv is the prices are almost double on most things instore

asda dont either we wanted a tv cable was £15 on web went instore to save postage i was £25 she said they dont price match they have different prices

shame isnt it but i can see why they do it :)

I can see why they do it, but when you get totally clueless staff who give you the wrong information and they just say tough when you turn up after wasting time and money getting to their store and parking it get your back up.
I'd have thought they#d have wanted to keep customers rather then Peeing them off !
