Most software needs a person to label tracks to an extent. Automated software tends to get it wrong (it guesses).
Use media monkey.

When I used to rip cd's into itunes it used to search for the song name online on some database. not sure if you can do that with tracks? worth a try?

does this method change the song name or just the referenced name within itunes? I want the actual file to be renamed, not something specific to any one media program.

+1 for media monkey, great software, but time consuming.

Well I may have just found a solution to your problem and mine. In fact, I say MAY have but I've just used it and it does exactly what i want. Tag&Rename 3.5.3 is the program. It lets you select an album, then you just hit 1 of a few relevant buttons, type in the artist and album name (or just one of those 2), then it gets the track information from a various list of sources including Amazon. You select which album it is from a list of hits related to the artist/album name that you input.

All you have to do is click "get info" and it instantly adds all relevant ID3 tags. Then, with 1 more button, it gets the track titles from the ID3 tags and renames the file to that. You can even use preset masks to change how to track is renamed.

I too have been looking for this type of software for years now. So glad I found it!
