After seeing the thread last night on Spectrum games etc, it made me want to go back and play some retro games, I wanted to play Rockstar Ate My Hamster but its a rom which is unable to be released due to copyright.

Found the Amiga rom easily and despite in the past not getting it to work, it worked and I played Rockstar and had great fun.

Anyway any other good games recommended and a good emu(as for some reason when I go full screen the pic messes up)

I enjoyed playing Zool, James Pond and Monkey Island.
Having about 14 disks for Monkey Island was a bit tiresome though.

Amiga owners would call themselves l337 these days! I was so poor as a kid I only got a speccy 48 with rubber keyboard then a 128+2 james bond pack with the light gun! Still was better than the bbc comps we had at school!

Don't do it. Let it live on in glory in your memory. Seriously. The only retro machine that has actually stood the test of time imho is the SNES.

The best game ever MUST be "Stunt Car Racer". Oh, man, it's good.

I have a Tapwave Zodiac PDA with the Amiga emulator running this, and it is still just as awesome as ever.

What makes you say the only one is the SNES? Surely the Megadrive has too, and dare I say that the Neo Geo (for those who could afford it) still has very playable games?
