You youtube'd videos of how to do it? It may find that it's easy enough to do yourself.
I've never done it however so I'm not talking from experience. :)

Mars be careful when i changed mine i broke the power switch. Its very small and easy to break. Fitting the case isn't too hard as long as you don't break any thing and plan what you're doing. There are services on eBay that will fit cases and the cost around £30

phat ds easier to do than the ds lite, as long as you take your time, and concentrate im sure you could both change them

Have you looked around anywhere else for cases? I have heard there are some really bad ones about and the reviews on the deal one aren't great. I would spend as much as possible on the shell, if it doesn't feel right the user is going to get fed up of it.

Are there any alternative sources or reccomendations?

Umm atm i thought deal extreme would be the best? lemme know if you find anywhere else.

i dont want to appear rude, but it takes an few hours to do dont it, so what you hoping they gonna charge you a £1 an hour to fix it, plus your case
#16
i dont mind paying more than that for it to be fixed lol but if its a £1 id be rather happy and even give a tip.

It's gonna cost you more than that to post it and be insured to the correct level.

I doubt nintendo will fix it coz it was purchased from outside the uk and secondly tim replied to cheerleader and she has a phat ds whereas i have a lite one.

Ill do it for you for £15 + P+P(to adequate level for security else my postie will have a nice present im sure the theiving git) - although id recommend you can do to yourself tbh.

Just watch out for 3 x ribbon cables, one linking top to bottom through a hinge, another ribbon linking the bottom along the hinge edge and the other one again for the bottom but its large and visible!

Mic and WIFI wires also feed through a hinge with the ribbon and thats prob the most painful bit to curl the ribbon and feed teh 2x wires through it, then slide a metal barrel over the lot and placeinto the hinge!

bar the above the rest is easy peasy - take your time and dont pull or tug anything.. check for those ribbons and 2 cables i mentioned and the rest is easy.

is that including a case or will i provide one?
#27
looks like you sold it! pretty decent sale for £40 and no accessories!

It was okay i guess, reckon i could have kept at asking price but i knew cluffy from previous transactions , they go for silly prices on ebay though £60ish !!!
