Quite difficult and expensive nowadays because of a shortage of property. House and rent prices have risen incredibly especially after the Met Office decided to relocate in Exeter.

Do you have transport and if so what is your maximum commuting distance. Take into consideration parking costs if applicable as these are very expensive?
What is your budget ?
When exactly are you moving ?
Would you like the local paper to be sent up to you ? (Not sure if this can be arranged through the paper but if not I would be willing to."

Sorry redranger I thought you were way up country, lol.

I don't know Exeter that well I'm from mid devon.
I was asking the questions because I know quite a few people working in Exeter commute from around this area so I was going to have a look for you around here if it was applicable.

You should be able to get the Express and Echo in Torbay which covers Exeter anyway, your local newsagent will order it for you normally.

There are some nice areas in Exeter but you really want someone with really good local knowledge rather than just my passing through knowledge.

Sorry if I confused the issue :)
