easy....... you can apply for tickets for any home match all you need is to just enter your membership number. however, they are usually massivly oversubscribed and you get put into a ballot.

you can also sign up to the ticket exchange, this is the official way to resell tickets you dont want, however there is markup to pay..... about 20% i think

if your thinking about doing it to get tickets for a match this season I'd think again the remaining games are sold out (but like I said you could purchase off the ticket exchange if your willing to pay the extra.

The only chance you'd be able to get tickets for Old Trafford this season is for the Barcelona/Schalka game (which after last nights result should just be a formality now) just keep an eye out in 2 weeks time for when they go on sale.

Thanks mate. Its really for next season. Cant get a season ticket as I live in Glasgow. Despite my username, I have also been a man utd fan for 20 years. Not been to a game in 2 years though!

If I join for next year, how often do you think I will be able to get tickets in one season? ( roughly speaking)

repped you for your help

probably around 1-4 games against the small teams. Alot of members have been unsuccessful this year, especially so for the big games as a lot of tickets seem to go missing for some reason :whistling:

I also think alot of people wont renew their season ticket for next season as you have to pay for 6 cup games upfront, and united have not yet announced price increases. So there should be more seats for one united members.

Your better off just going down on matchday and getting them. Just hang around the ticket office or on Sir Matt Busby Way/Warwick Road and youll get offered some by a genuine supporter or a tout. If its a tout just haggle them down to face value. Or wait right upto kick off and theyll sell them for less then face value. Obviously it wont work for the big games.

IMO its a lot easier to get tickets earlier on in the season, with there being so many games leauge & fa cup, champions league group stages and prem league people cant seem to afford them all. Champs league and leauge cup tickets sometimes end up going on general sale (ie non members can apply)

I'm hoping to get back on the season ticket scheme next season (had to give my last one up when I moved to peterborough) if I manage to get one I'll sometimes be giving up the occasional cup games if I cant make it - so I'll bare you in mind as this is a paper ticket and can be passed on (although your obviously not suppossed to)

MistrelMan!

That would be amazing. Yeah please give us a shout if you ever gonna miss a game and have the ticket for sale.

If you fancy watching the Celts sometime, give me a PM as I am a season ticket holder.

They only issue paper tickets to members now. All season ticket holders have swipe cards and each time theres a cup game united credit the card so theres no need for paper tickets to be sent.
