Is anyone sick of hearing political parties slating each other parties?! In the last few weeks I've seen billboards from the conservatives attacking Labour, I've seen Labour broadcasts saying how much worse off we'll all be if Conservatives came in to power and I've seen the Lib Dem's attack anyone but themselves. Is it just me or are these lunatics totally losing the focus to talk about THEIR POLICIES? This whole election is like a popularity contest!

As a first time voter I already have little trust for politicians, but these slanderous campaign tactics is just plain ridiculous. I can't even keep up with issues that affect me, and to be honest, they've not done anything to communicate to young professionals anyway!

Anyway, sorry to rant, I just think many people's opinions of the various parities are based on who has insulted the other one better.

Go for the Green Party, no slander I believe.

*edit* Of course it's a popularity contest, what else would it be? Those who are most popular will win, just like Big Brother and I'm a Celeb.

True, but after watching a political broadcast I come out knowing exactly how the country would suffer under any party other than themselves, but no mention of their actual policies!

It's PARTY POLITICS your talking about.

What kind of life you live is down to real politics.

I'm sure a great number of people are. There is a line to be drawn between pointing out a party's errors followed by your constructive solution and just rubbishing a party with no constructive element to it, but it is entirely fair to say that all major parties (to a greater or lesser extent) have stepped over that line in the past couple of weeks.
