Hi All,

A few weeks ago there was a post in the Freebies section for free tickets to a Jack The Ripper Tour, through thecelebrityplanet.com.......
The post has since vanished, I assume because the availablilty of free tickets is now out of stock.

But - although we managed to book ours in time and received a confirmation email, we never received anything else. No tickets in the post, nothing to say - print these out or just come along and give your name - nothing at all!

So - I've tried calling the number on their website and despite being a London landline number, it rings out until answered by an O2 voicemail.

Has anyone else been on the tour already with the free tickets? Or at all with this company? Shall we even bother showing up? On the site it states tours are by appointment only.....so I'm not sure they'll even show up. =(

Thanks for any advice.

It's for today. We finally got throught to the 0207 number - the guy said it wasn't answered all day because the number goes through to New York and that all we have to do is show up with our order number.

It's clearly a shoddy operation but does seem legit. They also sell tickets on lastminute.com and I checked with View London, who they are partnered with.

well have a nice time!

You're prolly just gonna get shown around the backstreets of Whitechapel and led into a couple of pubs!

We actually got a better offer and heard it was pretty poor - so decide to miss it, esp seeing as the company seems like so shoddy.
