Does the bootrom (model) start with MC ? If it does then you have the new bootrom.

That's not true anymore. Only way of finding bootrom version is by putting iPhone into DFU mode while connected to a computer, going to device manager clicking on USB devices and it's in the driver ID or something similar. This has been confirmed by Ih8sn0w himself.
