My mate and his brother both play a the same time and he still gets 4 bars on COD4 but its all about how fast your broadband is, namely your upload speed, upload speeds in the UK are awful

i used to do it with my brother, 2 tv's and 2 consoles right next to each other - was great fun
but it did lag abit, but this was quite a few years ago, so if you got a decent speed connection
might not make a difference.

I play with my brother online, sometimes it can lag but 90% of time its is a good connection.

As stated above it depends on broadband quality, who are you with and how fast download and upload are you getting?

i run 2 xbox 360's on Live,no problems since i ditched talktalk (kept disconnecting), now with post office and using zyxel wirless router (version one),this has a setting for xbox live traffic management which works well, note post office supply version 2 of this router which does not have the xbox live configuration tool but still gives a stable connection.

I run two 360's (soon to be three) and have little to no lag. I only get lag at peak times when tons of people in my local area are all using the internet at once.

448Kbps is the standard upload rate on BT/wholesale upto 8Meg broadband offerings. Some people (mostly businesses) have uploads of 768Kbps on rate adaptive ADSL. Fixed rate products 2,1,1/2 all have uploads of 256Kbps. ADSL2+ can offer uploads of upto 1.3Mbps.

My upload is enough for 3 xbox 360's playing cod 4 / 5 ... Get issues once in a while using 3 over live at same time say bout (8%) of time but with 2 xboxes it's perfectly fine 98% of the time

Test above was done with 1 xbox playing call of duty waw over live
