Anyone used Tesco vouchers for London Zoo?

Can I use the vouchers to buy a family ticket (2 adults, 2children) or does that count as another deal?

Also, is the gate price the same price as the website?

Thanks

We used tesco vouchers for London Zoo last year and they wouldn't give us the family entrance ticket.......we had to pay for 2 adult, 2 children individual entries!

I'm not sure if the web site price is same as gate price...........I suspect not!

If you are going school holidays / weekend prepare for longish Q! Also as with all these places the food inside was shocking and crowded.........packed lunch I suggest.

It was still a pretty good family day out though & you forget very easily that you are in middle of london!

Aah, really? That's so mean...

Thanks very much for the advice - would do packed lunch anyway to be prepared and save the pennies!

The other responses have helped me remember more detail. In basic terms the cost of 2 adult 2 kids using tesco vouchers is broadly equal to the family price including the voluntary donation!

The voluntary donation is a bit of a tax fiddle as the zoo (I think) don't pay vat on this element or can claim gift aid or something.........so therefore when you pay with vouchers they can't claim this!

Hope this helps!

Thank you :)

Looks like we are going to Colchester now, though - found out today that the car parking is going to cost us £24 for 2 cars and that put me off a bit more.
