my car insurance is due for renewal and at the moment the Co-Op are offering the cheapest deal for me.

i cant seem to find much info/feedback about their service, so are any of you guys with the co-op and what is their service like in terms of:

= customer services
= legal representation
= claims procedure etc.

above all, are they dependable?

any response is much appreciated.

Well I used to be with them when I worked for the Co-operative group, but never had to make claim so cant help on that front.
I have also just signed up to them as they were the cheapest. Paperwork came through quickly. Mind you not as quickly as the payment.
If you are signing up online check out Quidco because they are offering £75 cashback on Cooperative Car Insurance at the moment - just checked. Always clear your cookies before logging into quidco, use firefox, and always get a new quote - don't sign up for a saved quote.
Also get a Co-Op divi card as you get another £5 i think it is added to it
My mum just signed up to them too, said they were nearly £100 cheaper than her previous company and they gave her something extra that her other one didnt, some legal thing, I dont drive so I have no idea.
Used to be really good for cost service and claims
