BT free line connection, quote that free free line connection if you havent got a line in the house.

Phone and check first though, there might be one witch just needs to be activated free.

BT broadband does charge a set up fee

Don't know neighbours and none of the networks are unsecured

BT charge £122 for connecting phone line alone, the 'save on connection' deal for free is not available anymore

O2 have no connection charge but only worth getting if your exchange has been unbundled (LLU) - check the SamKnows site by entering your postcode if you're not sure.

If you take out a triple provide then connection is free. phone, broadband,tv

Have you phoned BT and asked them for a tech check to see if there is a line there or not?

if you look online you can get a program that allows you on secured networks but its wrong to do apparently

just make friends with neighbours and just offer them £10 a month to hook up to them id do it in these hard times it doesnt really affect them if your on it either

Things to look out for...

Downloading ilegal files
If ISP's think you are doing so they can throttle your spead at peak times.
Everything that the 2nd user would be using is counted as the person on the bill, untold problems could rise ahead.

Even if you have great internet speed say 6MBPS. what would happen if 2nd user whanted to stream HD content?

User 1 would have no bandwith at all.

It does make a difference i personally wouldnt do it

As long as you trust the people 100%, at the end of the day its all about the bandwith, 50 people can be online if all you are doing is viewing a webpage but if you are doing more bandwith hungry things like xbox live streaming videos it really isnt gonn a be the best user experience.
