Apple App Store VS Google Play Store
I have dilemma as I'm thinking of upgrading from my Orage SF to the Samsung S3 or the Iphone 5 in the near future.
My understanding is that the Iphone is a success due to their version of the App store as they have fantastic apps. I know if I go with the Iphone I wont be dissaspointed.
I would hate to purchase the s3 only to find out that the google app store is a peice of poop (as it currently is on my SF).
So my question is.......
Where does the Google App store stand compared to the Apple App store ???

Just an example Words for Friends on apple is 69p for the ad free version.
Words for friends on android is £1.91 ad free.
It costs more to make apps for android.
Get one of these!
iphone apps tend to be designed better, but I would go for the S3 purely for its CPU/Graphics + battery. iP5 is unlikely to beat the S3 in terms of speed without destroying its effective battery life.
and before you guys mark me as a droid fanboy; i love my iPhone 4 :D

i understand you have some leaks from cupertino, come on share with us :)
Come on now, please use some common knowledge
I'm pretty impartial when it comes to mobile operating systems, mainly as i'm a bit of a mobile addict, recently preordering the Samsung Galaxy S3 (Only due to free Galaxy Tab tho, otherwise i'd of waiting to see what the iPhone 5 brought).
When it comes to applications, i have to say, iOS has Android beat hands down for both the selection and quality. Granted, it isn't massively different but if you like a simple device that 'Just works' and has all the apps you'll need, go for an iPhone.
Then again... Over last 6-12 months i have seen developers concentrating on Android first - mainly due to the fact the platform has more reach now. It's also a far more 'fun' operating system if you like tinkering with things or widgets. Even i've got to admit, somebody who loves Apple's approach to UI, iOS is looking pretty tire now a days.

lol exactly please use some common knowledge. but everyone got their own preferences and fanboys war is just funny and pointless imo
Kind of pointless really.
Right now the smartphone market has somewhat plateaued which is why the S3 was somewhat underwhelming - the iPhone is still the only smartphone that can significantly move the whole market forward.
