Hi

I sent off my Ipod Touch via UPS today for it to be repaired under the warranty. I don't really know how big or small the fault is but if anyone has been through this, do you know how long it should take for me to have my/an Ipod back again!?

Many Thanks

yeah because yours is a phone and not apple but the phone company have an obligation to you to get it to you asap because you can claim for a coutesy phone if it will take too long especially if youre a business user but they will never tell you this for obvious reasons (must be insured though)

you cant claim a courtesy ipod though lol

Based on my experience from working for Apple Authorised Repair Centres I can say that it takes between 3 and 10days.

If the iPod is not back on the 30th day the workshop would request brand new replacement unit on your behalf. There have been cases where customers complained to Apple directly and received new replacements with higher capacities.

Turn around times can vary greatly through the year. Apple is actually very committed to good service, unlike Sony for example - they are truly appalling.

Have you not got a apple store close by. They replace on the spot for new.
