What are the thoughts of those who just seen the Apple WWDC2017 Keynote?
Any Surprises?
Something you liked?

I've personally was surprised with the entry level 4K iMac's Price in USD, obviously the UK price will be inflated as per usual, but I think that it's still a very smart move.
I think that the upgrade was long overdue for the iMac's to be honest, as they were still using the Hardware from end of 2014 beginning of 2015, so greatly appreciated.
I think that the HomePod is too expensive when you consider the price of Amazon Echo, yes the speaker might be way better, but I don't think it's worth an extra 200 dollars/pounds, but each to their own.
Liked most of the new iOS features, but still missed some such as Dark Mode which might be introduced with new iPhones later this year.

Just looked on the uk Apple site and with the iMac 21.5" entry 4k 3.0gHz looks a decent starting price of £1249.00 though with the odd upgrade here and there it's bound to reach the £1500.

Just a shame that the ios11 probably won't be compatible with my iPhone :/ (iPhone 5c)

Love apple products just not the part where they discreetly apply built in obsolescence were after say a couple of years the product still works great just you can't update or use the newest software/apps on them.

In fairness the 5C is 4 years old now and only has a 32bit processor so would not be compatible with iOS 11 apps - which will soon have to be updated to 64 bit just to work. Many old apps of mine will stop working.

I agree, iPad prices went ridiculously high after the brexit vote. So did the Macs to be fair, remember when the last gen Pro's could be picked up at £864 with education pricing and now the base model starts at £1134.

Why shouldn't it cost more as it has a much bigger screen for starters which is one of the most expensive components.
It really just goes to show what a rip off all these premium priced phones are with Apple one of the biggest offenders.

then why did the first pro has £100 with the same screen? and how does a 10.5 screen justify another £100 on top of that?
