Im in the middle of filling in a form for admin work in an elderly people care home. One of the questions asks if i have ever looked after elderly persons, where i have, when i did and what training i have had.
I have obviously never looked after an elderly person in that kind of way but this is for an admin job and looking after the elderly is not in the job description.

What should I put here?
Not applicable?

or is there something else i can put there?

apologies if this is a silly question but i just want to make sure i put the right thing there.
Thanks

The people who read these application forms are not as stupid as the people who write them, be honest and, the person who'll be reading through your application will know its an admin role.

thats exactly what i was thinking, the question is not relevant to the job but im afraid that if i put " I have never looked after elderly persons" then it might come across as slightly bad which is why i think " not applicable " is more relevant.

just wanted some clarification really!

Tell them you've helped elderly relatives and friends to fill out forms and helped them with pensions and entitlement claims /forms. If the job is admin thats what they will be looking for.

You are probably filling in the same form as a care assistant would do. I wouldnt worry about it.
