1st album is unbelievable best album ive every listened to! not 1 bad song
2nd was pretty much the same only 2 songs im not a fan of
3rd album peaks at dangerous animals
first one definitely best one.
fab songs, not heard much that compares to it since.
seem a bit main stream with these new songs, blend in rather than stick out with their upbeat quirkiness like before.
Never ever, seen what all the hype was about this band, never got into em.

Each to their own i suppose.

Now, lets talk Oasis....
They have split up - shock horror :-D

Totally gutted:x
They have split before though!
I love Oasis been to see them 7 times

lucky!!!! Oasis are great! shame they the brothers can't just be civil and continue writing amazing songs :)

Artic Monkeys have gone totally down hill, i can't listen to the 3rd album as its so bad! total let down :-( :x
Still watching them on BBC3 and just seem to have lost that "rawness". It seems to happen to bands after their second or third album.

yeah, im still kicking myself though for not going to Reading Festival this year and i only live 20 minutes from Reading :-( :x
Awww I really wanted to go, gutted - you should have gone. Well there is always next year :)

yeah i know but i have so much planned for next year i can't go :-( thats why im kicking myself this year :-( and im going to miss Download Festival next year too :-( arghh how annoying!!!
Ha ha there will be other festivals other years, sounds like you have a good year coming up :)

i do, it would be better if i was able to go to Reading and Download, this year i have missed out on the Relentless, IOW, Download, Reading Festivals and also T4 :-( not ammused!!!! lol
arctic rubbish
Glastonbury festival is all you need!
Glastonbury festival is all you need!

never been Glastonbury, whats it like compared to the list i put up ?
The latest album is really an evolution of the Last Shadow Puppets album. While I enjoyed the first 2 Arctic albums, this is one i have been playing on repeat.

Wont even compare it to t4 because it literally is no comparison!

Download i have never been but friends have who have also been to Glastonbury, clearly a different type of music but said it had a good atmosphere albeit a little aggro (went to the it the year lamp posts were being pulled down and big fires).

IOW festival is tiny compared to Glastonbury...not saying its a bad thing but it does mean there is far more going on at Glastonbury.

Ive been to Reading and the line up is usually better than it is at Glastonbury, its mainly modern popular bands whereas Glastonbury has an intereseting eclectic mix that generally appeals to a wider audience. I found the atmosphere at Reading to be one of the worst I have seen at a festival.

If you havent been to Glastonbury then get some friends with you and go next year, its the 40th time the festival has been held and is bound to be a special one. Beware though, once you go you wont want to experience another festival as in my opionion it is by far the best....amazing bands, plenty of other things to do e.g circus tent with brilliant performers not clowns and the usual rubbish, large cinema, arts and craft fields etc. Glastonbury has a good history and spirituality, the stone circle on the Thursday before the music starts is so memorable...everyone setting off chinese lanterns and people doing things they shouldnt :whistling:

The atmosphere is what makes Glastonbury the best of all festivals, everybody is so relaxed and happy (maybe something to do with the drugs that are widely avaliable :), it doesnt have a sponsor like Reading (Carling). There is no promoting and the rules are relaxed, you can make fires without being told to put them out which is one thing I hated when I went to v fest. Glastonbury is also a very ethical festival e.g a bus where you can sign up to a petition to stop world debt, loads of the money made by the festival goes to charity.

Me and my mates always say you could go to Glastonbury, not see a band and still have the best weekend ever. Like I said go with your mates, treat it as a holiday and you will want to go back every year (i went in 2005 and have been every year that it has been held since). Completely different to any other festival.
