Wow, I've always been happy to post CEX online deals and have talked them up, despite some people claiming they're not so good. I was basing this on the shop side of things being decent enough and I couldn't possibly believe that the online shop could be that bad!
So I put in an order for a copy of Million Dollar Baby on Blu Ray on April 29th. It sits there on 'Stock picking in progress' for about three days and then sat there on 'awaiting dispatch' right up until yesterday, which pissed me off enough. As others have mentioned, they didn't bother to reply to ANY of my (progressively angry) emails until this morning when they replied to the very first one saying it had been dispatched yesterday... Well duh.
But to really make the whole thing hilarious, they have sent me the Blu Ray in a PS3 case which will now look stupid next to all my Blu Rays- but the real stickler is that the cover for it was printed off from a ******* PC! I initially noticed because the back cover looks like a pirate, but what really gives it away is the fact that it's not been cut straight along the edges.... Oh and of course there's no certificate anywhere to be seen.
Unbelievable! Never buy from CEX online!
