Are Nescafe rewards worth it?

Hi,
I've only just noticed the 'Redeem your Beans' thing on my coffee jar.
I've looked on the site and registered, but does anyone here do the rewards thing?
Is it possible to get the discounts/vouchers without being bombarded with junk or tied in to making more purchases?
Looked over on MSE and didn't see much about it there, though it was only a quick search.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

i got kitchen scales once cost about 3 quid delivery and they didnt work:(

They used to be quite good but they changed them and I found them pretty crap last time I looked.

My scales are ok, I also got a travel bag which was ok. That was a couple of years ago though! Since I have stoped collecting the points, because all the rewards were such rubbish! Shame because we drink loads of coffee!

Thanks,
Is there any of the current offers worthwhile, such as the Virgin wines, has anyone done that one?

I looked at T&C, what do i read into "Further purchases are necessary and Bean codes need to be retained in order to exchange these against rewards." particularly the 'further purchase' part.

Also i'm only seeing offers which require '1 bean', is this right or are there more offers which require say 50 beans?

I think you only need 1 bean for a reward.

I have 32.

What shall I get :)

They did have some good offers when it started but I don't think any of them are worth doing now. Nescafe Rewards - Ha Ha don't bother.

DLM you seem over enthusiastic. I've only just started collecting and I hear the rewards use to be good. But now it's just pointless. I think Nescafe have maybe lost too much money with their rewards to keep giving but have gained enough faithful customers to keep them ticking over so 'who cares' to scavengers like us who seem to think the world owes us... They might do another business trick but will these beans even count? ...no-one knows...

Bring back the mugs ,all is forgiven!!!! We will pay the postage.

Nescafe must realize that their bean scheme is a waste of time by the amount of beans being redeemed for rewards.Looks like I missed out on the good gifts, back when you had to stick the beans on collecting cards & send them off.
"We’ve added five new exciting ways to spend your beans, from tableware to magazine subscriptions, there’s something for everyone"
Something for everyone, "lol" there's nothing there that interests me !

Yor new rewards are rubbish!!!piero

The rewards used to be interesting and worthwhile. However, looking on the web site now, where most rewards require just 1 bean, the range is poor. I suspect most people are looking at this and thinking what a waste of time. Gone are the days when you could get a pair of coffee mugs or even a dressing gown.
#17
Agree with all the above - I got a splendid dressing gown 2-3 years ago but nothing of any interest at all now - I shall switch to real coffee.

I just went rooting through my shed, i use coffee jars to keep different sizes of screws, nails nuts and bolts in and i drink loads of coffee, 52 beans i got from all my jars. I thought i would check out the website see if any of the rewards were good but the only ones that look worthwhile are the £5 vouchers for dobbies, everything else requires you to spend to get a discount. Still that'll give me £65 worth of vouchers so i'll probably get something for the garden.
