i have always rung through to make sure. They send you an email confirmation and if anything is wrong i ring up to get them to amend it.

I think they are hit and miss. See if something a good deal without the voucher, if it is and you do end up getting charged the full amount then thats ok. Its in the terms and conditions you accept on the clickwrap screen that you accept that if you use a voucher which isnt yours that they could charge you the full amount

I was one of the customers hit by the farce when they sent letters demanding their £25 back, people did abuse the system as there was no minimum spend and I among many did use it several times on different accounts, I only use codes now on my account if I'm happy with the price pre-code.

They should have verified the customers where entitled to the code before dispatching orders though as it was a complete cock up.

used a 30 off code to get my ipod shuffle and had no problems got the 30 squid sent straight to my account, used the code once.

I used a £10 off one last week. Then was charged the full price for my item. Will never use them again and have sent the item back for a refund.

Shocking, they bring out the vouchers that then get abused so make people pay full price without even notifying them. What a rubbish company that i will never use again.

Furthermore, i received 2 emails from them the other day to say i had bought 2 computer desks for £116 each. Turns out its a glitch in the system, either that or fraud, sorted it eventually so its all good but it is a place i will never go back to.

Anyway dont buy from them, this is based on my experience with them anyway.

I have been trying to find the voucher on hotukdeals for a newcastle kids away strip. 32 p with the £10 voucher. They charged me £10.32 even though the voucher went through okay. They said it was because the voucher was for spend over £30. Why would the voucher work online then. I even spoke to customer services and got an e-mail back stating that the £10 discount would be honoured. Upon checking my credit card this was not the case. They are now saying the customer services advisor was wrong. What a bunch of muppets.

ive never had a prob but ive never been greedy with them and use them rarely, i see lots of threads now tho about people being asked for them back so maybe littlewoods have clamped down, wouldnt stop me i only order if its somthing i want anyway and i cant get it cheaper elsewhere or i dont bother that way if they ask for it back i wouldnt mind paying it back, just be carefull how often you use them and you should be ok
but they never 100% safe unless the code was sent to you :)

never been hit by them wanting back like some have, but must admit i now only ever use a code sent to me, and make sure the letter or email is kept
