Are there any effective remedies for a slipped disc?

I've been having a bit of a problem with this, so any advice would be appreciated.

More tunage should fix the problem. Pack it tightly with more tunage, it will definitely help eleviate it.

go to your gp, i slipped a disc 2 years ago but didnt do nothing bout it untill last october when i was in serious pain shooting down my leg, then lost all feeling in foot for about a week, i had to go for mri scan then couple of days after the scan i had a phone call telling me to go to my gp straight away. i gotta have major back surgery next month its very scary im still in so much pain no pain killers work at all.

the longer you leave it the more damage can be done like it can kill off nerve endings as previous post see your gp

have you tried a TENS machine ? I slipped 2 discs a couple of years ago and was lent one by my physio.Did give some relief

Knock all the discs to the floor, you won't notice the slipped disc, hth :)

i have tried everything, my right leg hurts the most now tho i cant walk for longer than 10 mins with out collapsing. its so embarrasing im only 22 i gotta go in a wheelchair when im out shopping etc. anyways there are alot of people in worst situtions than me so cant really moan of a few dodgy discs

thats all i know its a discectomy i dont really know much about it, i dont really wanna know to be honest i just wanna have it done to get it out of the way. if i knew exactly what they were going to do i wouldnt go through with it
