Are you allowed out of legoland?

Going to legoland, and just quickly wanted to ask if your allowed to leave the park?
If so, do you get a stamp or something?
Thinking of putting a picnic in the car.

If not, does anyone know how the food is priced there?

Thanks

Stamp? I heard they paint your face yellow...

They changed the rule - now once you're in you're in. You can never, ever, leave.

At Legoland there are lockers near the entrance but these cost a pound that you don't get back.

No matter how loud you shout 'Lego of me!'

If you have any kids in nappies - take plenty, they are £1 EACH from the vending machine in Legoland!! How they can charge that much for kids nappies is criminal IMO.

Yeh like anywhere food is expensive in these places, take your own picnic.

Thankfully my boy is 3, so out of nappies now, not sure about my other 23 year old boy though (OH lol) so wont need to buy any there :)

Thanks for all the advice people!

Yeah, i thought itd be cheaper to eat outside rather than inside, its slightly annoying, as its £35 an adult, and £23 a child just to get in, so not a cheap trip out anyway!

Tesco are giving out vouchers at the till for free entry when accompanied by a person paying full price and I'm sure there are other deals on at the moment - no need to pay full price!!

Re-admittance
If you wish to leave the park and return the same day, at no charge, please have your hand stamped at the entrance turnstiles. Failure to obtain a handstamp wil result in you not being re-admitted. Production of a ticket will not be proof of re-entry. Before you leave the park, you can also upgrade your entrance ticket for a two-day ticket or even a LEGOLAND Annual Pass. Refunds or exchanges are not possible in cases of inclement weather or attraction closure.

Yes,
Ive bought my sons ticket for £23 online, then i have one of these tesco vouchers for me and the OH to get in for £35.

Still annoying though, its still quite a bit of money to part with - im not bothered how much it costs, cant put a price on the little smile ill get from my little one (and the bigger one :p) you just think, with the entrance price (alot of people probably wont have cheaper tickets, so will pay full whack) theyd cut the cost of the food down! But they know they can sell it - so wont!

Oh well, ill pop out for lunch, then back in :)

Thanks to everyone who replied!
