Are you cutting back due to 'credit crunch'?

Just wondered if people's spending habits are changing due to the rising prices and harder to get credit at the moment?

From a buying point of view I haven't really changed anything as I don't buy that much anyway so haven't really cut back.

However from a selling point of view, ebay is very slow for me (which seems to be the case for many sellers), and last week on the markets and car boot sales I do, was the worst week in 2 years (considering the weather wasn't too bad). The markets were probably just a blip week as usually i do well due to the products I sell, but was curious to see if anyone else had changed their habits. Maybe not using the car as much, spending less on this years holiday, eating cheaper brand foods, that type of thing?

I've had to start cutting back, I did my shop on Asda today and bought loads of the smartprice stuff just to try and save some money, I saved about £1.50 off the price of Kingsmill bread, and about £2.00 off the price of Robinson's orange squash, also about £1.00-odd off potatoes.

Coke is 29p a can in Heron, and even less per ml for the 1.5l bottles, go there, lol!

Cut backs, the only cut backs I make is laying my ice cream drivers off!!!

I still earn a fortune due to the hot weather, so I can charge what i want for a 99!!! Costs me about 12p and I sell it for 99p at the resorts. Man I love living the high life.

They could go over to Tescos and buy a dozen for £2, lol.

The general public are so thick, yet they come on here ranting and raving about the cost of living, yet most of you do not have a clue how to save money!!!

Sorry but it is true!!!

You only ahve yoursleves to blame for the most part.

I can sell you a 99 for half price....

..49 and a hapenny and it's yours.

But please don't make a big issue about it!!!

No cut backs due to credit crunch, just slightly peeved at petrol prices. I wish people would be more organised with money. That way, the interest rates wouldn't have been lowered to help them and I'd get more interest on my savings.

Spending less / saving more reminds me of eating better / getting more exercise

Things you really should do and, if you are like me, think about doing, but never
really get around to DOING IT..........
