If you hold the power button down for a while,it should beep and will reset the ps3 connection settings, might be worth a try

yep use the scart so you can see the screen, go to the display settings and set them to hdmi. Turn it off and back on with the hdmi plugged in.

I know it sounds silly but are you sure it's in the HDMI 1 socket?

Plug it back into the other TV which it was operational on, go into the PS3 settings and turn it to SD or something along those lines.

Then plug it back into the LG.

have you connected it via HDMI then reverted back to the red yellow and white? If so as somebody else suggested hold down the power button after turning on and it should beep like 3/4 times. Then it will stop trying to use the HDMI settings.

If your using HDMI try switching to HDMI 2 or 3. also make sure its fully plugged into the back of the ps3, i did that once. :P

Alternatively revert back to the 3 colour connection just to see if you can get a picture up :) even try a new hdmi just to source the problem :)

When you change Tv's you need to reboot/ reset the PS3, as someone mentioned, all you need to do is the following -

when the system is off, hold the on button down for a few seconds till you here a beep. This should allow the PS3 to detect the new TV and settings.

Hope that helps.
