Try not to get too stressed if you can't get to sleep, take a book or listen to some (low) music.

hello, to get you through the weekend or until you go to dentist wjat i do is take a couple of co-codamol and within 5-10 minutes the pain will go you can get them over the counter at any chemist - they work for me everytime! hope this helps and the pain goes away!!

You can take paracetamol and Ibuprofen together they really are good at easing toothache. My dentist said it was the only painkillers to use to ease toothache. Hope this helps

if you can see enough to type its not that bad!
phone your dentist for emergency appointment though.
if you cant get one soon enough or aren't registered with one then phone nhsdirect and they will try and make an appointment at a dental hospital for you.
think holding the paracetemol to the area burns tbh and tastes disgusting
better to take a codeine containing paracetemol if its bad anyway

my tutor would use whisky on paper , pushed against pain area (or was a fib to have a tipple . .

Get down to a 24 hour Tesco or similar and purchase OraJel (or OraGel) - can't remember the spelling. I had toothache earlier tonight. This stuff is amazing. Just like the jag you get at the dentist - completely numbs the sore area. No jag, just a wee rub of gel. Will last you until you get an appointment sorted within 4 days.

Do it now, pain away within mins.

Marky,

Stuff is good - i used it several hours ago, still no pain. Re dentist. Good advice offered earlier re nhs direct. You'll get sorted for pain relief. It may mean an extraction, or temp fillin till you get a dentist on board.

Good luck.
