I think it's to stop people selling the reserve codes online.
#2
i dont agree with selling the codes. giving them to poeple selling the code is wrong coz you didnt pay for it
#3
yeh about time! now give thanks to those ebayers who are selling the numbers, making it unfair for those who genuinely want them for their kids!
#4
there was a problem with the reservations, people were allowed to reserve more than the stores had which was causing negative balance problems in store.

They are in stock on Amazon.co.uk for £9.78 with free delivery, just in case you haven't seen the deal yet :)

2 per customer.

Didn't you have a thread last night where you were boasting about selling codes on ebay?
Or did I dream it.:?

I think Argos are right to stop this as it prevents people who haven't got access to the internet, for whatever reason, from being able to buy any 'cos some people are just reserving loads of these "just in case" someone on here wants them.
My daughter's friend hasn't got one yet 'cos her parents can't afford the internet and every time they go to Argos it's the same old story, sorry, sold out.
But people have them reserved but then don't go and collect them.
But they don't go back into stock until the end of the day so that is no good for my daughter's friend.
But if you try and tell people that, you get called names, like I was last night. Ha Ha.

Yes s/he did!! Selling codes on e-bay for £81 and wondering if that was a good amount. Retracted, accused, found guilty, but the records appear to be expunged.

ILP - get in here!! :whistling:

You were called names Phil - not very nice on your birthday.:w00t:

I'm not surprised, people were going into Argos and using the self serve machines pinching other peoples reservations for them, I know, I had a wasted 40 mile round trip to pick some up for my sister that had been reserved onlne, but collected earlier that day by someone else, the staff said it was happening alot.

I know, but I thought it was funny.

They reserve something and then work backwards on the reservation numbers. They were doing it at my local one by going to the fast pay machines.
#16
i think this fair enough too many people are reserving with no intention of buying

It's easy, you reserve something and get yourself a number.
Go into the shop, use the auto machine and just keep putting in numbers below yours until you strike it lucky.:w00t:

OMG, some people have serious issues:-D

SO have you refunded the person who paid you £81 for nothing yesterday?
