So i preordered a Wii from Argos online ages ago and cancelled it weeks before the Wii was even released, though they had taken the money when i had ordered so i was told to expect a refund in 7-10 days. I waited like 3 weeks before calling them up as i still had not recieved the refund and was told that the console would be delivered the next day and all i had to was refuse it at the door and as soon as they got it back i would get the refund straight away.
So i waited a day, and then another, and another week ends up going by and still no delivery or refund. I sent them an email and have been doing so weekly ever since and the first few times i got told that they had contacted the finance department and i would get the refund in 7-10 days. The last time they said that recently they have been having some technical problems regarding some refunds and i should expect it in the next few days.
Another weeks gone by since this email and i get told pretty much the same thing over the phone i just end up waiting longer. Anyone know what i should do about this or if there is even anything i can do?
