hi, i also have the same problem with3 kids, never can get accommodation to fit us all, so i alway book my own flights, look on travelrepublic, or xl then i go on ownersdirect or holiday rentals for private owned accommodation and get some great bargains, can normally get a holiday for 2 weks for the 5 of us for less than £1,400 depending on where we go, hope this helps.

my kids are aged 9,11,12,13, could have seperate rooms, pay as little as poss, @ £150 per person (know that sounds cheap) what gets me is that i WILL NOT pay a higher price per person just coz thers is 6 of us,some times the same holl come up as £90 dearer Per person. thats why i refuse to book,

Thanks i'll have a look. got 3 lively sons and i think apartments are going to be the best option. the youngest is only 7 and the eldest has an asd so splitting us into separate hotel rooms is not really viable.

Holidays for larger families can be difficult if you don't book early. The hotel rooms and apartments for larger familes do tend to go really early in the season. Most hotels and apartments seem not to have rooms for anything larger than a family of 4, someone needs to have a word with the people who do the plans for the buildings!

Some hotels do have interconnecting rooms but these are few and far between normally. If you have a larger family the only way to guarantee that you will get a room or apartment big enough is to book early I'm afraid
