They always seem to try and play football (Which i applaud). I guess playing Arsenal they have no option but to try and get physical or risk being torn to shreds.

We never do that actually........hence the appalling away record of 1 point all season and a woeful goal difference!!!

I predict a sneaky draw.........then when I regain my mind......another drubbing for the Clarets whilst getting plaudits for playing some nice footie!

Fair point - Just used title for a cheap joke!!

Presumably you are a Burnley fan - Would you prefer for them to be more negative away from home then to pick up a few points. I watched their away game at Villa and they seemed to play well for a while then got tore apart in the second half spell. I think if they get relegated then they will look at the away form as one of the principal reasons.

IF we manage to stay up it will be due to our home record,Turf Moor was never going to be a nice place for others to visit and that is what were always hoping for tbh.

The difficult thing is that out team are not set up for negative football,we play passing and moving attacking style footie, that got us promotion an a Carling Cup semi final last season.

The Villa game is the story of our season, play well but have a dreadful naive 15 mins or so from which we can never recover.

Many tipped us to go down with less points than Derby so in many ways we have done better than most thought. We still have a chance of staying up though probably will be relegated.......c'est la vie.....promotion helped with the financial stability of the club though and we will have learned an awful lot.Maybe we will be a West Brom,yoyo-ing,not the worst position to be in really for a small town team from Lancashire:)

Well I hope you win today.... but go down. Nothing personal (I actually quite like Burnley!) But the 6 pints I have riding on them, throws any feelings out of the window! :-D

Be nice if they paid some cash out to replace the crap seats in away end!!

Im a Doncaster fan so can definitely see the merit of playing good football over results (pretty much the story of half of our games last season!)

Think that relegation will be Portsmouth Hull and one of either you and Bolton ironically enough
