Hi,
Does anyone own Art Academy on the DS?
I'm thinking of buying it for a 7 year old who is heavily into drawing/art but am trying to work out if this will be too grown up?
Other alternatives are things like "Drawn to Life" or "Let's draw", the latter I think is probably too basic.

Would be great to hear from anyone who has this.
Thanks

I have played this and absolutely love it! Its great!
I was very impressed with what I could achieve with it. The only downside is you can't extract what you do. Its all stored on the DS.
I would say it is more advanced than th basics as it includes layers of colours, brush strokes, mixing colours, shading etc but I guess it depends on how advanced your child is and if they are willing to go through the tutorials.

My 8 year old daughter had a go and she seemed to enjoy it too, but she went straight in to some of the advanced tutorials and then did her own thing.

If your 7 year old doesn't like it, I'm sure you will! :)

My daughter is 12, we got this a while ago and she loves it. Her sister is 6 and does play it sometimes, also enjoys it.

Give it a go.
