You cannot name people of HUKD's in the "Have you got any friends or family working in the Wallmart group" :giggle:

:giggle: noo its not that, its a few other things im confused about

Good luck with the job!!

Whats the bits your stuck on?, If its anything like Tesco's its a horrible form to fill in, Its more like a questionnaire of how great the supermarket is than a job application!!
banned#4
yeah the tesco one has lots of difficult multiple choice quesitions, i can give you one tip, take about 3 forms because I always mess at least one up!
#5
Tescos are horrible, if your not careful in the questionnare bit you can contradict yourself alot.

The bit im stuck on is:

I can work any time now until september but then ill start college and can only work 5 till say, 10?

heres the bit im struggling on: 'Are there any reasonable adjustments that may be required to be made should you be invited for an interview? If so, please state'

Would i put that there?
banned#6
just be nothing or N/A, you can discuss more in the interview about your intentions.
#7
Also ive never had a previous job as i've only just left school.. So whatg would i put in the previous work

And on the referee bit theres two boxes. one SHOULD be for a tutor from school or a headteacher. well its out of school time now so i cant put one of them.

The other Should be someone who knows you but is not a friend or relative... thats confusing, everyone who knows me is a friend... or a relative.

Just put nothing (As in nothing would need to change) and then discuss it at a later date if you get it, Just start the job (The important thing), Get your feet in and then in a couple of weeks say you've only just received the letter/phonecall saying your accepted for college in September, Once they realise your a good worker, They should be more than happy to work around.......

Or you could put the truth, But then there more likely to choose someone else who can work full time, Honesty is all well and good, But it doesn't tend to get you places! :giggle:

Previous work = N/A

References, as a recent school leaver you could still put a teacher as they will be able to give a character ref. For the 2nd reference if you don't have anyone else from a saturday job etc then leave it blank. They will not expect loads as it is your first job.

banned#14
that could be a good thing to put in there, put available on request, because then if they ask you could find the details for them.
#15

If you've left school, I don't think there are restrictions. Although you have to be over 18 for night work.
#29
So i could put say, 15 hours down?

Part time is usually 16 hours or less per week.

Basically, make sure there are no spelling errors. Put in how you like the idea of being part of a team and working for a large company. What role is it? You may want to say you have experienced Asda's superior customer services and you would like to help customers in the same way you've been helped. Basically, 'big-up' Asda. Include how you enjoy working as a team in a friendly enviroment, how important customers are to you, etc.

I don't know. I know there are restrictions for under 16s handling money transactions, but don't know about 16 - 18s. Does it not say on the site anywhere? Which would you prefer? You can either do your back in or your leg muscles!
#39
I'd prefer checkout, wouldnt have to memorise the store, however i wouldnt mind any.

I think you could work on the checkouts at over 16. A lot of them certainly look under 18, but then so do the managers...
