Probably they didn't know ^^^ happened.

Take a look at watchdog reports. Asda have been messing up the cost on deliveries for a long time now. Report it to your store and it will get sorted

FLIPPING HECK.

£200 a week on food, do you have a pack of lions.

Yes they stipulate this in there terms and conditions. I would never use them online. Would recomment tesco, been using them over Asda online, price ends up being about the same and customer service is far better, and you do not get that Fair price rule, it's as it stated in the basket.
[mod]#4
...but do you know how much the other supermarkets would have charged for exactly the same items that you ordered?

£271-202 does not equal £90

Probably where your problems start from.........

His username suggests that he does!

Have you received any substituted items? When Asda substitute they usually pick the most expensive brand in my experience. Did any offers such as BOGOF expire from the time you placed your order until today?

If it was already up on his usual bill + the 69 extra added by asda could well be near £90 actually

This, fair does to your wife for developing 7 of them for you.

You must be a hard working dad.

You maybe able to claw back some of there funds, I would suggest you threaten them with action.

Yep it's bull, go to Tesco honestly there service is far superior online.

When they replace an item they give you the option of accepting it and they do not replace it with inferior items and they don't charge you if its more expensive. (Had a £13 chocolates @ the cost of £6 at christmas, and I had a whole delivery refunded and delievered @ £85)

They also don't charge you more then qouted.

Agree with Adam, I used to use Asda's online shopping but found them to be dire - milk/bread etc was always with a short use by date and would go off very quickly, fruit etc was often bruised and a lot of what I used to order was out of stock or they would substitute it with way more expensive priced items. I don't mind Asda in-store, but online to be avoided. I use Tesco online for grocery shopping if I need to.

Exactly the same strategy as mine, instore online great prices and service.

They also inform you of short dates, up to 3 days I believe. If they don't warn you I claimed my money back on yoghurts not picked up on the next day from delivery they refunded me without any questions.

Asda are rubbish when ordering online, I bought loads of party food at the beginning of the week, over a tenners worth was oos (which equalled to quite a bit of party food) and they had replaced them with....nothing! I ended up rushing around Budgens an hour before the party, kind of defeated the object! Never again.

they can charge you different as prices change day to day so they say that you are charged whatever the instore price is on the day - they do state this on the site (in small writing) i would never use asda for online shopping i work there on customer services and the amount of complaints we recieve about homeshopping is unbelievable! x
