You can run Windows on any Atom or Celeron based netbook.

you could remove linux and have just windows, or you can dual boot to have windows alongside linux

Just to let you know that IF you want to upgrade the physical memory on this Acer Netbook it will mean you have to take it a part (which is a bit tricky) and it will invalidate the warranty. If your concerned about that at all, then you might want to look at the other thread on the go, which is pretty much the same except it's going for £199.99p but comes with 1GB of memory & is delivered free by Amazon via their Super Saver Delivery Option.

If you want to check it out please take a look at the following internet link to the thread on this forum - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/291153/showthread.php?t=291153.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Yes, you can install Windows onto it and it can be done quite easily - there's a actually a forum out there for people who use the Acer Aspire One Netbook and it has quite a lot of helpful guides there to give you an idea.

I've listed the internet link to the website below for you, if you fancy having a read - note there are a number of good guides present for supporting Windows XP/Vista, if you take a look at their sub-forum the 'How to Guides - Windows' which details out what to do.
