Hi guys,

I wonder if you could tell me if asda accepts random vouchers even if you dont buy the product that the voucher gives money off?

Thanx!

The other week this old woman short changed me by a pound, and i went back to tell her and she was having a right go at me about it denying it, i said "Love, i wudnt bother making it up to gain a pound". The store manager had to *** down and evrything, i left feelin so embarressed and like a criminal!

I've had I dont know how many problems with the women at the counter.

There was one who altho had sold me Alcohol before refused me a couple of weeks back, I'm 24 ffs.

Another one I bought baby milk and about £10 worth of fruit and veg, I went to use my £12 in Healthy Start voucher, she said to me I'll take 3, I said no you'll take them all, she looked at me as if yeah right, then she printed off my till receipt and proceded to count everything that i'd spent, she ended up taking the vouchers but not after a huge queue had formed behind me, I was absolutely mortified so off to customer services I went, and I let rip, they told me that they had an email in saying to check everything as people were using vouchers and buying say just an apple, I said thats all very well but from just looking at my shopping you could tell I'd spent enough, the box of baby food was £7 by itself.

I told them that if this was the new policy then they should have signs at the tills telling people to get their fruit and veg totalled first, I also said to them that when you come in the first thing you go to is the fruit and veg section so it always ends up at the bottom of your trolley.

Couple of weeks later, in I go again, end up getting the same woman at the tills who does the same thing she did before.

I was raging, I went to customer services, I was shaking telling the woman at the counter everything, she phoned a boss who told her to apologise, that the woman would be spoken to AGAIN and to go pick myself a bunch of flowers, they also sent me an apology letter.

Needless to say I've not had anymore trouble at the counters.

I understand if maybe this is policy but there definetly should be signs up, not only that the till girls/boys should have a little more tact.

Had another guy who constantly called me Madam, now I get that he probably thought he was being polite but ffs, would you like a hand packing Madam, i'm going to give you some free bags Madam, can you put your card in please Madam, would you like cashback Madam, could you remove your card please Madam lol, I know this probably wouldn't annoy others but it definetly ****** me off lol.

Not to mention the people who are working in the ailses, you ask them if they have something, they come back saying no, you wander round then go back to have a quick look and then its on the shelf!!!!

I had one guy who is great, I asked if they had these burgers that I wanted, he said no he couldn't see them out the back, well about 25 mins later he comes up to me in the shop with 2 packets of them, he had found them for me, I personally thought that this was excellent customer service so went and gave him a recommendation.
