Just received an email from ASOS...

'Great News... Free Returns on All Orders'

It's about time I say!!

It used to put me off buying things knowing that if they didnt fit etc i'd have to foot the bill sending them back... Now I can spend spend spend :) Love it!

Oh and coupled with some of their free delivery codes and discount codes its going to work out good!

Good call.. I don't often order from them (probably twice this year), but little things like this do help affirm their regard for standards of quality.

surley consumer protection protects you anyway. Distance selling regs, 7 days to return at their cost. Most companies seem to try and forget it but the law is quite clear on this matter.

I'm pretty certain it's not at their cost, but the consumers responsibility

ASOS are (In my opinion) a very horrible company to deal with, that rarely show any remorse or willingness to help when a mistake is theirs, read my thread about an issue I had a while back (not really relevant to free returns, but some of you may find it interesting to read)

I wouldn't order from them again, personally...BUT free return delivery is something I suppose for those of you out there that favour ASOS...

sorry to jump on the thread.

not voted hot or cold.

The law is clear.

Under distance selling regs yes you can return an item. BUT you can be required to pay the shipping AND the item should be unused. Unlikely if it's clothing and you've unwrapped it all to try it on ;-)

Personally always found ASOS to be a good company, I have not needed to return items in the past though
