Guys I'm really struggling - does anyone know how to remove the rear door panel on a Astra H 04 plate.

If I am able to do this I could save £100 with Vauxhall as I only need to replace the wiring loom.

Id really appreciate your help - If possible I was hoping to avoid buying the haynes manual.

Thanks

If you're not confident enough to remove the door panel I wouldn't reccomend changing the loom:?

Are there no local garages who could look at it without going to a main dealer?
What's the problem with it exactly?

i am confident to remove the door panel I just want advice or help. When I pull it feels like I might snap something - I just want to make sure I'm doing it right.

I have been adviced that the loom is as simple as unplugging the old one and plugging the new one in.

most often there is a screw under the door handle on the inside, once removed the rest of the panel should 'pop' off. thats a guess, ive done a few and most were the same in theory.

Don't want to sound like a stuck record, but surely a car forum would be the best place to ask. You know, instead of a forum on a shopping website.

However, there are many different people who use a shopping website, some of whom know about cars, other computers, law etc.

I have registered on astras owner club but that limits me to 'Astra' owners - I was hoping a whole range of people would see this post , maybe if I were lucky a mechanic....

fair enough - Im not suggesting you don't post here. But there is the pro-active approach of searching the astra forums for the answers as these questions get asked alot there. Also you'll find quite a few helpful people there.

Good luck
