Asus UL30 / UL30A Laptop Case Recommendations

As the title really, I have just invested in the above and am wondering what protective cases people are currently using for it?

I know the deal itself has been posted multiple times, so there must be thousands of HUKDers that have been in the same dilemma.

Looking for something other than the mundane black neoprene case. Specifically if anyone knows whether the majority of Macbook cases should fit the UL30 that would be great because it seems most of the case manufacturers use that as a key example.

Heat and rep obviously on offer. Could prove a useful thread for many.

I cheaped out though and got a generic black neoprene sleeve :p can't argue with 5 squids

Yeah, I saw those being discussed elsewhere. Btw nice one with the overclock. Do you use a combination of RMClock & SetFSB then?

RE the cases, I suppose I would like something really nice in suede/calfskin leather. Failing that I would love one made out of a tweet style material. Gets a bit mad though cost-wise. Some people have obviously got more money than sense.

I like the zeroshock cases on ebay and gearzap. They are really great for protection and look the part, they are more protective than neoprene cases. I have the gimp at the moment for the asus but I may buy the zeroshock again for peace of mind.

I do like the corduroy look, but it's just not quite there for me. Bring on the suede/moleskin/calfskin leather :-D

Anyone have any further shouts?

I'm looking at getting a case for it as well, i quite like the look of the zeroshock ones.

I'm torn between these 2 tho:

http://www.gearzap.com/zeroshock-iv-advanced-laptop-case-13-3.html

Anyone recommend either, is the advanced one worth the extra money and will they both fit the UL30 spot on.

Cheers

dropped into pound shop to grab a neoprene while I was looking for something better. All they had was sleeves for 15" lappys. However grabbed one just to make do.

When I tried it was a perfect fit, snug but easy to get in and out and you could even get the power supply in at a push. Not sure I would bother with anything else.

Btw had the thing a week and absolutely love it. thin well built, massive battery life. Showed it to somebody who has had many a laptop of various types and sizes through work and he was very impressed by it especially the price.

Had no trouble with WIFI signal.
